Happy's Vet carries a full diagnostic laboratory, digital radiology, ultrasound, a dental suite with full-mouth X-ray, and an on-board surgical suite — so bloodwork, imaging, dentistry and sterilization surgery all happen in your driveway instead of at a clinic across town.
Happy's Vet serves Jacksonville and St. Johns County, Florida — including the Jacksonville Beaches, Mandarin, Riverside and Avondale, Fleming Island, Orange Park, St. Johns, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee and Julington Creek. Most of it. Wellness exams, core and lifestyle vaccinations, sick visits, blood panels and urinalysis, heartworm and parasite testing, digital X-ray, ultrasound, dental cleanings with full-mouth dental X-rays, and spay and neuter surgery are all carried out on board. A small number of highly specialised tests still go to an outside reference lab, and we tell you plainly when that is the case.
Routine care can be spread across the year through a monthly wellness plan rather than paid as one-off bills. Plans for adult dogs and cats start at $45 per month. Bright Beginnings covers a puppy's or kitten's entire first year at $150 and $120 per month, and the Happy Smile Club covers an annual dental cleaning at $67 per month. If your pet is in a life-threatening situation, contact your nearest emergency veterinary hospital right away rather than waiting on a reply from us. A hybrid exam pairs a veterinary technician at your home with veterinarian live on video. The technician carries out the hands-on examination and collects any samples while veterinarian assesses your pet and talks with you in real time. It is included on the Plus and Premier wellness tiers and in Bright Beginnings.
